I played around with the camera during the 4th of July weekend, I even pulled out the manual for the camera, that is getting serious for me...I never realized how quickly fireworks happen, there was no sipping wine during the fireworks show. The fireworks were low-key, but they did do a couple big ones. We were sitting on some rocks in the river, I'm not sure how I convinced myself to get into a canoe with my new baby (Nikon). Anything for a good picture. Camera setting: Manual mode, f-stop 8, shutter speed 10, and ISO 200, white balance automatic. I ended up moving the focal point beyond 24, seemed to be more dynamic.
